Proceeding contribution from Lord O'Neill of Clackmannan (Labour) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 9 March 2010. It occurred during Debate on Energy: Draft National Policy Statement for Nuclear Power Generation (EN-6).
Energy: Draft National Policy Statement for Nuclear Power Generation (EN-6)

It is my understanding that the Conservative Opposition, as they then became, had long previously abandoned nuclear power as far as further construction of power stations was concerned.
