Intelligence and Security Committee

I give notice that some of my right hon. Friend's officials might like to refer to column 433 of our debate on 7 May last year in relation to paragraph 177 of that report, which does not seem to have been addressed in this report. We were promised that it would be, and I shall raise that later. I want to draw Mr. Speaker's attention to the paragraph before the contents page of this report, which states:""The Prime Minister appoints the ISC Members after considering nominations from Parliament"." That is simply not true, is it? There are no nominations from Parliament. Why do we put this garbage in a report when it is simply not true? If I am wrong, no doubt my right hon. Friend will point out to me how I missed the opportunity to be nominated.
