Legislative Programme and Budget Statement (Wales)

There was some speculation in the morning papers about leaked Treasury documents, but I was heartened when I learned that the reports were saying that although there was an indication of a downturn in public sector jobs, there were also good, optimistic forecasts for private sector jobs of around 2.5 million, so I thank the hon. Gentleman for that intervention. He was obviously up early enough to have taken the phone call that went to the shadow Secretary of State’s office at half past 8 in the morning.
