Proceeding contribution from Lord Wallace of Saltaire (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 10 November 2010. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Superannuation Bill.
Superannuation Bill
Neither the previous Government nor this Government expected the challenge to the agreement presented by the PCS on the previous occasion. The outside possibility with which we are concerned is a successful challenge that might ask for judicial review under the Human Rights Act, so might under certain circumstances go as far as the ECHR. That process that could last for some considerable time.
