Proceeding contribution from Richard Ottaway (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Monday, 22 November 2010. It occurred during Ministerial statement on NATO Summit.

NATO Summit

I congratulate the Prime Minister on the positive outcome of the summit and, in particular, on the fact that the United States has moved away from 2011 as the date for withdrawal, and towards 2014. However, is not Iran the elephant in the room? It does not appear in the declaration—at least not in substance. What is right hon. Friend say what the attitude of his partners is towards Iran and, in particular, towards sanctions, which, at the end of the day, is the only weapon that we have?
