Proceeding contribution from Elfyn Llwyd (Plaid Cymru) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 1 December 2010. It occurred during Grand Committee proceedings (HC) on Comprehensive Spending Review.
Comprehensive Spending Review
On a point of order, Mr Caton. The Secretary of State obviously does not understand the process involved. The timings on a Welsh Grand Committee are decided through the usual channels. Every Whip of every party takes part and decides the dates and subjects. It is not in the Secretary of State’s gift. She says she is not a viceroy, but she is acting like it.
