My right hon. Friend is making a powerful and important case. Is it not right that the consequence of the fiscal stimulus was that we maintained relatively high levels of employment, unlike the position in the ’80s and ’90s, when the Conservative party presided over unemployment rates that were more than 1 million higher than those that existed in the worst economic crisis since 1929? Tory Governments always mean more unemployment, which is what Wales will get.
