Proceeding contribution from Roger Williams (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 1 December 2010. It occurred during Grand Committee proceedings (HC) on Comprehensive Spending Review.
Comprehensive Spending Review
The right hon. Gentleman is as courteous as ever in giving way. Will he explain why it was left to the coalition Government to undertake a comprehensive spending review, when we were waiting for one from the previous Government? Of course, the previous Government would then have had to say where the cuts would come from, because cuts had been accepted.
