Proceeding contribution from Jonathan Evans (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 1 December 2010. It occurred during Grand Committee proceedings (HC) on Comprehensive Spending Review.

Comprehensive Spending Review

My hon. Friend is surely bored of these chants about people losing their jobs. Does he not find it a bit surprising that even though the latest statistics showed that unemployment in Wales had fallen by 12,000, that it was falling faster in Wales than any other part of the UK, and that it has been falling for three successive months, there has not been a word of praise from the Opposition?
