Proceeding contribution from Stephen Williams (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 19 January 2011. It occurred during Ministerial statement on Sustainable Transport.
Sustainable Transport
Penblwydd hapus, Mr. Speaker. I am sure that when the Minister visits Bristol tomorrow he will receive a warm welcome from people from all parties. If he is travelling by train to Bristol Temple Meads, he may be disturbed by the cost of the bus service into the city. Does he agree that to address the huge potential for shorter journeys that he mentions in his statement we need seriously to address the cost of a single bus journey from a main railway station?
