Aid Reviews
I congratulate my right hon. Friend and his team on an important piece of work that is in the national interest, but may I press him a little further on the subject of the European Union? Would he consider discussing with the EU the possibility of a pan-European review conducted on the same basis on which he conducted his valuable review on this country, to establish whether that would help the EU to deliver its aid more effectively?
