Forestry Commission (Northumberland)
I know that the Minister takes a close interest in that matter. The disease threat requires the commission to be able to respond quickly if a farmer or landowner discovers what appears to be evidence of disease on his land. It will not be satisfactory if somebody has to come up from the opposite end of the country to do that.
