Proceeding contribution from Baroness Hanham (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 20 June 2011. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Localism Bill.

Localism Bill

I will have to take advice about that because I was not expecting that question. I will write to the noble Lord and not hazard a guess because we might end up offending each other. If I may, I will make sure that he gets an answer to that specific question. With that explanation, I hope the noble Lord, Lord Wigley, will feel able to withdraw his amendment. I think the noble Lord, Lord Greaves, was very much heading to get the sort of answers that I have now given, so I hope he will feel able to withdraw his amendment on the basis that I have given sufficient information.
