Proceeding contribution from Jeremy Corbyn (Labour) in the House of Commons on Monday, 18 July 2011. It occurred during Debate on National Policy Statements (Energy).
National Policy Statements (Energy)
The Minister is discussing renewables and technology. Is he not concerned at the relatively weak state of British manufacturing's capacity for solar generation, either for hot water or for electricity? Does he envisage Government intervention to try to strengthen those necessary and valuable industries in order to take advantage of a very fast-growing market?
