Proceeding contribution from Lord McKenzie of Luton (Labour) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 13 October 2011. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Welfare Reform Bill.

Welfare Reform Bill

I was just trying to be helpful, and give our point of view. Whether it is a bigger group or series of smaller groups is not so important to us, as long as the Minister is able to treat them as mini-groups so that we can have full responses and an iterative process as we address each of the sub-issues. If that is consistent with the noble Lord’s view, that is a basis upon which we can move forward.
