Proceeding contribution from Baroness Lister of Burtersett (Labour) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 13 October 2011. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Welfare Reform Bill.
Welfare Reform Bill
My Lords, the Minister said that help with mortgage interest would continue as now. I presume that he means for people out of paid work and not people in paid work receiving universal credit. Given that the whole point of universal credit is not to have a distinction between ““in-work”” and ““out-of-work””, how does that tally?
