Pensions Bill [Lords] (Programme) (No. 2)
My hon. Friend makes her point with greater eloquence than I could muster, and she sums up the crux of our case. Labour set two tests for the Pensions Bill, and the Government continue to fail both of them. They fail the first test of giving fair and due notice, to which my hon. Friend just referred. Even if amended in line with the Government proposals, the Bill will not give those 500,000 women fair and proper notice of the rise in their state pension age.
