Proceeding contribution from Lord Harris of Haringey (Labour) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 15 November 2011. It occurred during Debate on bill on Terrorism Prevention and Investigation Measures Bill.
Terrorism Prevention and Investigation Measures Bill
I know this is fearful—every time the noble Lord mentions my name I stand up, and I will endeavour not to do that. My puzzlement was associated with the grouping. Had this been freestanding as Amendment 44A, we could have had a nice little debate about that and about its place in the Bill. I was puzzled that it was grouped with these other amendments on the relocation powers.
