GM Crops and Regulation
Genetically modified (GM) crops have been grown commercially since the mid-1990s. Early concerns focused on their potential impacts on human health and the environment. This note summarises the evidence on such impacts, describes recent technological developments and examines their likely consequences for proposed reforms of GM regulation.
