To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many direct joint training exercises with the US armed forces have been carried out in each of the last five years.

Each year UK Armed Forces conduct a considerable number of exercises with their US counterparts, some single service, some joint. The information requested is not held centrally, but is being compiled. I will write to the hon. Member with the information shortly.
