Submarines

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many submarines are awaiting recycling at (a) Rosyth and (b) Devonport.

Answer

There are currently seven submarines awaiting recycling at Rosyth, with a further 13 at Devonport. The annual cost varies depending on the level of maintenance required.
