To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, if he will make an assessment of the potential impact of Ghana's gold for Oil policy on the Ghanian Cedi.

The UK has noted Ghana's Gold Purchase Programme and will watch its development with interest. The UK is supporting Ghana as it navigates a set of economic challenges.
