Aviation: Crew

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how many people (a) enrolled on and (b) failed to complete commercial pilot training courses in the UK in each of the last five years; and what the corresponding completion rate was in each year.

Answer

The Department for Transport and the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) do not hold data on the number of individuals who enrol in, but do not complete, commercial pilot training courses. This information may be held by individual approved training organisations.
