To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, pursuant to the answer of 16 June 2026 to Question 8053 on UK Statistics Authority: Elections, what is the basis for the UKSA issuing public comments on party political content by (a) political parties and (b) opposition Hon Members during the May 2026 pre-election purdah period.
