Treasury: Artificial Intelligence
- Question
-
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what training her Department provides on AI; and (a) how many hours and (b) what topics and skills are covered by such training.
- Answer
-
HMT provides centrally run training covering the AI tools available for use in HMT, how to use these responsibly, and the basics of how to use them effectively. These sessions are open to all staff and are run monthly. Other more advanced and role specific training is arranged at group and team level, however this and the information requested in parts a) and b) is not readily available and cannot be obtained without disproportionate cost.
