Speed Limits: Cameras

Question

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what revenue has been generated from speed camera enforcement penalties in England in each of the last five years.

Answer

HM Treasury does not hold data on flows into the consolidated fund from speeding camera enforcement penalties. Revenue generated from fines for motoring offences is retained by Departments or directed into the Consolidated Fund.
