Defence Equipment: Bridges
- Question
-
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the answer of 7 September 2026 to question 26226 on Defence Equipment: Bridges, on what date the one General Support Bridge vehicle was disposed of.
- Answer
-
This equipment has commenced or completed the disposal process in accordance with Defence disposal policy. It would be inappropriate for me to provide exact disposal dates as to do so could, or would be likely to, prejudice the capability of our Armed Forces.
The Ministry of Defence assesses the sensitivity of information not only on its individual merits, but also on how it may be aggregated with other information already in the public domain. Providing specific disposal dates of Army equipment could contribute to a broader understanding of fleet management, equipment availability and therefore Defence capability.
