To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, how many embedded communicators are employed by the Civil Service; and are they part of the Government Communications Service.

The Cabinet Office currently lacks definitive data on the number of communicators embedded across government. This gap is intended to be resolved by the 2026 Data Collection. Embedded communicators are part of the communications profession.
