Helicopters: Exhaust Emissions

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what estimate she has made of the level of air pollution caused by helicopters.

Answer

Local authorities have a duty to monitor air quality in their areas. The Department has not made an assessment of the contribution of helicopters to levels of air pollution.
