Overseas Aid

Question

To ask Her Majesty’s Government what sums were reimbursed from the Department for International Development to the Ministry of Defence in each of the last 10 financial years in respect of services or supplies provided by the Ministry of Defence for overseas aid purposes.

Answer

Since 2005 the Department for International Development has reimbursed the Ministry of Defence by the following amounts for services and supplies provided by the British Armed Forces in support of humanitarian and disaster-relief operations:
