To ask Her Majesty’s Government what assessment they have made of the fire protection arrangements for lorries on shuttle trains using the Channel Tunnel.

The fire protection arrangements for lorries on shuttle trains have been independently assessed and reviewed by the Channel Tunnel Safety Authority (CTSA) following previous Tunnel fires and most recently following the serious fire of 2008.
