To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs (1) what reports he has received from the UK ambassador in Rabat on the arrest of the journalists Lafkir Laghdaf and Khaled Rouhi;

We are aware of reports of the arrest of these two people, but understand that they have both now been released. We regularly emphasise to Morocco the importance of full respect for human rights in Western Sahara. I discussed this issue during my trip to Rabat last week.
