Business question from Greg Mulholland (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 20 April 2017. It occurred during Business statement on Business of the House.

Business of the House

The coalition Government introduced a £173.5 million fund for a modern public mass transit system in Leeds, and I was delighted that this Government stuck to that commitment. With the election, of course, that has been thrown up in the air, so may I ask the Minister what will happen? Can

he assure me that when this place is not sitting there will be proper scrutiny of Leeds City Council’s unambitious and poor plans for spending that money?
