Proceeding contribution from James Wild (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Friday, 21 January 2022. It occurred during Debate on bill on Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles (Safeguarding and Road Safety) Bill.
Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles (Safeguarding and Road Safety) Bill

To return again to his experience on a licensing committee, will he say what proportion of applications for private hire licences were rejected? Would he expect that proportion to increase when local authorities have additional information?
