DAME SHIRLEY PORTER

That this House notes that Dame Shirley Porter's debt to the people of Westminster arising from her disgraceful role in the Homes for Votes gerrymandering scandal is now approaching ??40 million; notes the long overdue decision of Westminster City Council to freeze the offshore trusts under her control as a first step to recovering the debt; calls upon the Conservative Party to meet their long overdue pledge to condemn her behaviour; believes that Dame Shirley Porter, awarded the DBE for her service to local government, is unworthy of this honour which should be forfeited; and calls on the Prime Minister to recommend to Her Majesty the Queen that Dame Shirley should be stripped of this honour without further delay.
