Early day motion tabled by primary sponsor Bob Russell (Liberal Democrat), on Tuesday, 11 March 2003, in the House of Commons. It is signed by 46 members in total.

HUNTING WITH DOGS ON MINISTRY OF DEFENCE LAND

That this House notes the overwhelming vote in favour of a ban on the hunting of animals with dogs; deplores the decision to allow hunting to take place on Ministry of Defence land through the granting of 27 licences in different parts of the country; believes that there is no justification for publicly-owned land to be used for this activity; welcomes the cancellation of a hunt planned for MoD land at the Colchester Garrison; and calls on the Government to ensure that all licences on MoD land are not renewed.
