F-35 Joint Strike Fighter

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on progress in acquiring F-35 Joint Strike Fighter aircraft for the new aircraft carriers.
Answer

In conjunction with the US and the other international partners within the Joint Strike Fighter programme, we are negotiating the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding for the co-operative production, support and follow on development phase.
