- To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will list the officials who will attend the EU-AU summit in Lisbon on behalf of the United Kingdom.

My right hon. Friend the Prime Minister has said that neither he nor any senior Government Minister will attend the EU—Africa summit in Lisbon if President Mugabe attends. Our focus now is on working for solutions that deliver a successful summit without President Mugabe attending. No invitations to the summit have yet been issued and consequently no final decision has been made as to who will or will not attend for the UK.
