Army: Manpower

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what the (a) authorised establishment and (b) number of vacancies of each (i) battalion and (ii) other definition of army unit is; and what the comparative figures were on the same date in each of the calendar years (i) 2005, (ii) 2006 and (iii) 2007.
