Royal Air Force

- To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what recent additional resources he has allocated to the (a) Royal Air Force and (b) Royal Navy for commitments in Libya.
- Answer

Any additional costs incurred by the Ministry of Defence as a result of operations in Libya are charged to the special Treasury Reserve. Operations are co-ordinated and undertaken jointly. As a result, these costs are not readily broken down by service.
