- Table showing for 1978-79 & forecast for current financial year no of aged married couples & single persons, amount of age allowance for those aged above & below 80 years, age allowance ceiling, post-tax income on threshold of clawback of age allowance in each case, amount of state pension, average earnings, maximum level of income support on a state pension & income below which income support would not be payable - Incl fact that no ceiling to amount of income support payable & no set income level above which it was not payable
