- To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to his Answer (305 c763-4W, 5 February 1998), to the honourable Member for Dunfermline West, if he will comment on the current status of the partnering arrangement between the Naval Recruiting and Training Agency and Flagship Training Ltd.

Mr. Rapson: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to his answer to the hon. Member for Dunfermline, West (Ms Squire) of 5 February 1998, Official Report, column 763-64, if he will make a statement on the current status of the partnering arrangement between the Naval Recruiting and Training Agency and Flagship Training Ltd. [40996] Dr. Reid: I have decided that following the outcome of the formal consultation, the transfer of activities in the General, Administrative and Support areas of the Naval Recruiting and Training Agency to Flagship Training Ltd. should proceed. The transfer of activities and employees will commence in a phased manner on 22 June 1998.
