Lynne Jones: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what assessment he has carried out of the levy on plastic bags introduced in Ireland. [75596] Mr. John Healey: The Government keeps under review developments and experience of relevant taxes in other countries. The Government currently has no plans to introduce a plastic bag tax.
