- To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, if the present minimum landing size for plaice in all sea areas will continue during 2002.

Mrs. Ann Winterton: To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs if the present minimum landing size for plaice in all sea areas will continue during 2002. [23272] Mr. Morley: Yes. The EU minimum landing size of 27 cm which had been extended by derogation (from the original 22 cm) from 1 January 2000 was made permanent in May 2001.
