To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, if he will make a statement on progress with the future aircraft carrier programme; what changes have been made in the design specifications for the future aircraft carrier; what the value of the future aircraft carrier contract was (a) when it was awarded and (b) at the latest available date; what assessment he has made of the effect upon contractors of changes in design specifications for the future aircraft carrier. - Will write.
