Mr. Paice: To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs how much was spent from EU funds in (a) intervention purchases and (b) export restitution for each agricultural product for each year since 1992. [214582] Alun Michael: Details of expenditure from EU funds on intervention purchases for each year since 1992 are shown in table I. The RPA does not hold details of expenditure on export refunds during 1992 following the introduction of a redeveloped computer system in 1993. Details of expenditure on export refunds since 1993, for each agricultural product sector, are shown at table II.
