John Thurso: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many of the civil service job reductions recommended by the Gershon Review were in (a) London, (b) England, (c) Wales and (d) Scotland, broken down by Department. [213274] Mr. Boateng: The Gershon Review made no recommendations on the geographical locations of civil service work force reductions in UK Government Departments. These are a matter for individual Departments to consider in line with their business and service delivery needs.
