: I entirely agree with the proposition that parties should make clear their intentions before the election. Will the hon. Gentleman therefore explain why, when I challenged the hon. Member for South Suffolk (Mr. Yeo) on nuclear power, he replied that the Conservatives would make up their minds in the year after the election?
