Proceeding contribution from Lord Bradshaw (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 1 November 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill on Transport (Wales) Bill.
Transport (Wales) Bill
My Lords, if I may just interrupt the noble Lord, it is not really Arriva’s fault. It runs trains in Denmark and it runs them extremely well. It has restrictions placed on it—it is not allowed to have new rolling stock and is just making the best of what it has got, it is not allowed to buy anymore.
