Proceeding contribution from Duke of Montrose (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 2 November 2005. It occurred during Committee proceeding and Debate on bill on Commons Bill [HL].
Commons Bill [HL]
I wish to speak to Amendment No. 114 in this group. Presumably the regulations will lay down the date by which all applications have to be received by CRAs. At some time, will the Government indemnify the commons registration authorities against claims of maladministration should they fail to deal with applications made within the time allowed?
